Introduction to Creative Cloud event, Wednesday 7 August

A whirlwind tour around the Creative Cloud, four short demos (15mins each)  then off to the Rusty Bike for a summer social.
The Create Now tour is postponed until next meeting 19th September with a speaker from from Adobe. The free software draw will take place then and not the August meeting as previously advertised.

Find out what’s in the Adobe Creative Cloud offering and network with people with likeable minds.

Glenn Clarkson – ‘The myths and magic of Creative Cloud‘ and a look at how CC works in practice to try to dispel some of the myths, as well as talk about the magic stuff like having one CC subscription but Windows and Mac versions of everything….
A look at one new feature in Photoshop and one in Dreamweaver.

Richard Duriez – What’s New in Premiere CC: a quick look at the interface, and demo of a new feature.

Dariusz Dziala – Whats New in After Effects and a quick look at the other tools used in video production such as Prelude, SpeedGrade, Story, Audition and Photoshop.

Alun Ward – responsive sites with Adobe Edge Reflow, mobile apps with PhoneGap.

Make a careful note, in a change from our usual schedule, our July meeting is in August, and our Thursday meeting is on a Wednesday. Clear?

To get the scoop join John Twycross & Tim Watts on June 20th at Film Oxford.

Guy Henstock: Photoshop Plugin development

Guy will be speaking about a Photoshop plugin project he worked on at the end of last year.  Although Guy has been a Photoshop user for more than 14 years, he had never developed a plugin before.  Guy will be talking about how he came to be asked to develop the plugin, the process of learning ActionScript through to the final stages of the project.
